/ New Entry & Top Rating
in the Schlemmer Atlas

/ Aurea Fine Dining Shines
Exquisite cuisine and unforgettable moments of enjoyment – this vision has guided Aurea Fine Dining at Mount Med Resort since its opening. Now, just months later, the restaurant has already been honoured with a prestigious entry in the renowned Schlemmer Atlas, receiving an impressive 4.5 out of 5 cooking spoons.
/ A Culinary Milestone
For Head Chef Phillip Schnabel, this recognition is more than just a rating:
‘The fact that we have received such a high award so soon after opening makes me very happy. A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful team – you make this success possible. It’s a great motivation to continue creating culinary experiences that give our guests unforgettable moments of enjoyment.’
/ The Aurea Experience
In the intimate setting of a beautifully restored historic vaulted space, with just eight exclusive seats, guests are invited on a six-course culinary journey – available in both classic and vegetarian variations. Each menu is a symphony of aromatic finesse, premium ingredients, and creative surprises, complemented by a refined selection of amuse-bouches and petit fours.
Highlights from the seasonal menus include golden trout, lobster, ray wing, venison, and even the playful creation ‘pinecones’, all crafted with precision and imagination. Guests may elevate the experience further with a carefully curated wine pairing or a refreshing non-alcoholic pairing.
The Schlemmer Atlas is one of the most respected restaurant and hotel guides in the German-speaking world. Covering Germany, Austria, South Tirol, Switzerland and Alsace, it features more than 1,500 selected addresses. Its rating system, based on cooking spoons, ranges from one spoon for ambitious cuisine to the highest honour of five spoons.
With its 4.5-spoon debut, Aurea Fine Dining has positioned itself among the finest restaurants in the region – a remarkable achievement so soon after opening.
