The red-and-blue Klosterstube, rustic Bauernstube and historic Zehentstube recall the days when Church authorities collected the tithe within these walls. Later, as part of the former Kellerwirt, these spaces became a beloved gathering place for celebrities from the worlds of sport, art and politics.
The Zehentstube honours the legacy of the tithe once paid by local farmers to Bavaria’s Seeon Monastery. History comes to life in its rich red tones, the scent of alpine herbs and the elegance of Adnet marble tables.
The cosy, pine-clad Bauernstube is a tribute to traditional craftsmanship, featuring exquisite details such as Gmundner ceramic lamps, hand-forged curtain rods and curtains adorned with classic red and green prints.
The Kornstube, Heustube, Schäferei and Molkerei embody the evolution of the old tithe barn, seamlessly blending historical heritage with refined materials and a rich sensory experience.
Art is woven into the fabric of the entire resort, but in the historic dining Stuben, it takes centre stage. Here, alpine motifs by the 18th and 19th-century painters come together to create a historically significant Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.
